What challenges we faced:
The customer, one of the leading US-based global escape room brands, was going to three different suppliers overseas to source the multiple sizes of displays required for their gaming application. They also lacked a local engineering resource. This gaming customer-facing application entailed that screens would be used every day during business hours including weekends as each game offered teams a chance to find clues, solve puzzles, and discover keys you need to make it through to the next room. Thus, display monitors would have to feature an industrial design with a long mean time between failure. Moreover, since games are accessible to all players even those with disabilities, screens would have to boast excellent contrast and readability.
Our Solution:
We were able to source all six different display sizes for the customer's application. Our team provided local technical support, and engineering resources that ultimately saved time and money for America's premier live escape room company. Impact selected monitors that incorporated a long-lasting LED backlight with a long MTBF to ensure an amazing experience is offered for families, friends, work workplace colleagues for years to come removing concerns for screens degrading quickly over their continuous use. Users with disabilities and various heights also benefit from Impact’s monitors’ superior contrast, wide viewing angles, and high-accuracy color gamut, all of which complement assistance with puzzles in the escape rooms.
Technologies Used:
