The Fujitsu D3488-H Extended Lifecycle Motherboard is a high performance Extended AT03 form factor dual-socket board. It is equipped with the Intel® C624 Chipset and supports 2 (two) Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors such as Xeon Silver, Gold, and Platinum, Skylake-EX and -SP (Xeon "Purley") microprocessors such as Intel® XEON® E5-Series. It can even be used with 2x Intel® Xeon® Platinum processors 8176 (both of 28 Cores, 2.10 GHz, up to 2.8 GHz, 10.4 GT/s), providing true A.I. performance. Xeon Phi x200 ("Knights Landing") processor ready version is not validated yet. Starting Feb 2019, it will support “Cascade Lake” processors (=new revision and updated BIOS, but backwards compatible to support other above-mentioned processors). MTBF of D3488-H is impressive 65,316 hours = 7.5 years at 40°C ambient temperature and continuous 24/7 operation. D3488-H features Fujitsu's unique 12V only single rail technology, and the “12V only” input provides several benefits such as by about 30% lower failure rate for the motherboard compared to multi-rail PSUs.
