The Kontron D3598-B Extended Lifecycle Motherboard is a high performance ATX Board designed and manufactured for 24/7 continuous operation. It is equipped with the Intel® C422 "Bassin Falls" Chipset and supports the Intel® Xeon® "Skylake-W" processor series W-21xx (up to 18 Cores/2.3GHz) as the latest Intel® Xeon® Cascade Lake series W-22xx (up to 18 Cores/3GHz). With a high amount of expandability, it features a Mini-PCIe socket, includes USBs, 7 x PCIe Generation 3 onboard, 5.1 multichannel audio, USB 3.1 Gen2, USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB 2.0, USB 3.1 Gen2 Type C, Dual Intel GbE LAN supporting iAMT / vPro & Teaming, 8 x Serial ATA III including RAID onboard, built-in Trusted Platform Modul (Infineon) V2.0, BIOS-POST/-Boot & OS - HW Watchdog, and M.2 SSD 2260/2280 socket (PCIe, NVMe). Additional accessories like D3436-S (mPCIe / M.2 converter) for M.2 2230 WLAN modules are available to increase the functionality.
