The Challenge:
Presented with the challenge of securing a reliable computer to drive their parking management solution, our client needed an industrial-grade machine. This was no ordinary computer task, as the system would be responsible for driving powerful AI machine vision cameras, accurately reading license plates in all weather conditions. Durability and unwavering performance were paramount.
Our Solution:
We first selected an embedded industrial PC with a 15 year CPU lifecycle to ensure long term availability. To ensure reliable operation across the client's wide outdoor temperature range, we customized features of the PC to extend it's operability.
Technologies Used:
To keep the client's cost low, while expanding operating temperature, we customized the PC with an Intel® Alder Lake-N embedded i3 processor and industrial wide temperature SSD.
